After I wrote the cat haiku, I realized it was ambiguous but decided to keep it that way. In my world though, the cat slunk away disappointed. Chalk one up for the birds!

Hear! hear! to the hectic last few weeks. It’s embarrassing when my brain drops an important thought or errand or name. But, I just have to try to keep going. The #haikuforhealing has really helped. I love what Cathering says about shifting into low gear. Now that winter break is here for me I can try….but it will fly by so fast. Cheers to you this holiday break. I wish you much peace and joy.

Both of these haikus are enchanting. I love the playfulness of “peek-a-boos through dark branches,” and the “crimson perfection” in your berry haiku. The photos are magical, thanks Molly!
