NPM: Free Choice: A Wordle Poem

I Wordle every morning and every so often I use my word choices for the day to create a poem. Yesterday my word choices were : frame, claim, amass and smash. Here’s my poem:

Curating

Frame your day
with gratitude and awe.
Claim it, name it and hang it on the wall
or on a page
or let it tremble on your lips in praise.
Amass a grand collection.
Smash away the drab, the grey!
Keen your eye to wonder–
frame your day.

  2. Well done with your Wordle poem. I did get smash in five after guessing slash in four! Sounds like the creative challenge your top students might like. They are almost third graders.

I love your poem, Molly! What a great line “frame your day” and I especially love how you start off with this line and circle back to end with it, also. Thank you for sharing your inspiration. Happy spring and Happy National Poetry Month. The birds around here have been so joyful to have some 50-degree days. If you have spring vacation from school this week, then have a great week rejuvenating in nature and if you don’t have spring break still rejuvenate in nature.
