Bio: I’m a fourth grade teacher and live with my husband in rural Maine in an empty nest feathered with books, a few cats and too many dust bunnies to count. Much of my free time is spent writing, reading, running, wandering, taking pictures and procrastinating. A number of my personal essays have been published in the Portland Press Herald and some of my poems have been published in online galleries. I'm beyond thrilled to have a poem in the anthology, IMPERFECT: a poetry anthology for middle schoolers about mistakes.
